Something about grace (Advent, Three)
harder, unforced
demands tenacity
requires nothing – reciprocation, nor love
changes everything
overlooks an offense
covers a multitude of stains
opens a door
buries a hatchet
condition-less
without qualification
never cheap, never earned
seemingly amnesiac
firsthand, not secondhand
stunningly attractive, oft unregarded
believes a better word
hopes a better word
nothing to do with karma
is fueled by love
always within redemption
undiminished by rejection
framed unfair
feels unreasonable
never deserved
gets back up
gets back up
emphatically incarnate
a person
a word
grace.
